Recipe For Success is a website and app purposed with repersonalizing recipe sharing digitally.
Half recipe sharing, half social media, this site lets you
share recipes you like with friends, make your own recipes,
and challenge others try new recipes.
This was my final project created for my Interaction Design class.

HOME This is the web version of the home page. Primarily, this page functions as a quick way for users to find new recipes either recommended to them by an algorithm or one of their friends. For this page, I have prominently displayed recommended recipes based on a user's previous interactions with the site. Below this, there is a section called "Hot Plates" which are the recipes which the user's friends have recently tried.

SIGN IN & SIGN UP The sign in and sign up pages are made to be a straightforward way for users to create an account or log into an already existing account. In order to further enforce user interactivity, these pages feature recipes created by other new users. This page also displays the brand writing, which is quick, punchy, and uses cooking puns.

MOBILE PAGES The home, sign up, and sign in pages also have mobile versions! These function similarly to their web versions, each is purposed with creating a straightforward way for users to access recipes, interact with other users, and add their own recipes to the site.

PROFILE These are the mobile and web version of the profile pages. On Recipe For Success, you can add other users as friends to see what they've recently made as well as their own recipes. To add a personal touch to their profiles, users can also add their own profile images and bio. My goal with these pages is to make it so that users can find their real life friends and add them.

CHALLENGE FRIEND Users can challenge their friends to make their favorite recipes! When a user favorites a recipe, they can go to one of their added friend's profile page to challenge them to make the recipe. This is a simple three click process which enables the user to interact with their friends.

CUISINE There are a bunch of different cuisine types for users to select from. These can be basic categories like "Italian", "Indian", or "Dessert" but can also encompass miscellaneous cuisine types like "Quarantine Cooking" and "Dinner." These will appear depending on the time of day or even what is going on in the world.

RECIPES & FAVORITES If a user tries a recipe and likes it, they can add it to their favorites for easy access the next time that they decide to make a meal. These recipe pages include related recipes, ingredients, and directions. The goal of these pages is to be a one-stop shop for everything related to the recipe.
